JBEE Factory Increased Energy Efficiency
20th April 2026
JB Environmental Engineering Ltd have completed the fitting of Solar Panels to the factory roof to increase the company’s energy Efficiency and to reduce its environmental footprint and impact by powering the factory from solar power. The Factory roof has been covered with 88x Aiko Neostar 3P+ 540W Dual Glass Black White Mono Bifacial Panels across the roofs, which connect into 2x FoxESS T25-G3 Inverters inside the unit. We have carried out the fitting with the intention of improving our energy efficiency and reducing our environmental impact on global warming and the planet.
Operating and maintaining Environmental Test Chambers use high levels of electrical energy due to the nature of the equipment; therefore, it is imperative that we operate in an energy efficient way. With the use of various electrical equipment during the repair and work building chambers it can also take high levels of energy during the repair and refurbishment of the chambers. It was therefore decided to increase our energy efficiency by installing solar panels on the factory units’ roof to generate our own power in an efficient non-polluting way. This action reduces the environmental footprint created by JBEE and offers our customers an Environmentally friendly supplier that will also reduce our customers’ environmental impact.
During the first week of operation of the solar panels during March 2026 the solar panels generated nearly 850kWhs of electricity which covered close to the factories entire electricity uses during that week. With this level of electricity generation JBEE expects be virtually self-sufficient in electricity during the year and significantly reduces its environmental footprint as well as increasing its energy efficiency.
