A Mobile Environmental Chamber has been sent to the JB Environmental Engineering Ltd Factory for refurbishing; due to its size it is positioned in the car park for refurbishment. The refurbishment will consist of the replacement of the Cascade refrigeration Plant using low GWP refrigerants R449a & R473a, the fitting of the new Refrigeration Gases will reduce the GWP of the chamber by 70%. The refurbishment of the plant system and chamber will result in the Mobile Test Chamber being able to operate over the Temperature range of -70C to +70C including cycling.
The refurbishment of the refrigeration plant will increase the efficiency and reduce the power consumption of the mobile chamber when running and bring the chamber in line with the F-Gas regulations.
