A Salt Spray Chamber is designed to create a hot, humid and salty atmosphere to test paints, coatings and materials resistance to corrosion.
Salt Spray Chambers are used by many industries such as Marine, Automotive, Paint & coating manufactures and the defence industry to ensure that their products meet the exacting requirements of the environments they operate in. The products for testing are placed inside the Salt Spray Chamber, the Coated samples are then exposed to an artificial corrosion environment in these salt spray corrosion chambers to check if the coating surface is suitable for use as a protective finish on final products. Samples are tested inside a salt fog chamber for a predetermined amount of time, the higher the corrosion resistivity, the longer the test time in the salt fog chamber.

The exterior of these cyclic corrosion test chamber products is made of a highly corrosive resistant non-metallic glass-fibre-reinforced structure. Our Salt Spray Chambers are Designed, manufactured and supplied to the highest quality and the salt spray corrosion chamber devices are built to last with a maintenance-friendly design and are ideal for testing to IS, BS, ASTM, and DIN specifications.
The Salt Spray Chambers are fitted with precise temperature control of both the chamber space, with the salt spray pre heated to maintain a constant control within the chamber working space. Our salt spray chambers are supplied in two versions, either the basic version with set point and time controller or the programmable Cyclic version for carrying out the more complex specifications with different phases of testing.
The Salt Spray Chambers can be supplied in many standard sizes, or can be custom built to meet specific requirements, they can also be supplied with a range of options to meet most needs.
